DURHAM COUNTY, N.C. Time is running out!The Stewards Fund of Raleigh, NC has made a $32,500 all-or-nothing challenge grant to Durham Rescue Mission. The matching grant will only be awarded if the Mission can renew past donors or acquire new donors. If you have previously supported the DRM, but have not given a contribution since 2007, your renewed gifts will be doubled through this special challenge grant. If you have never supported the DRM and you send a gift, your first time contribution will be doubled by the special challenge grant. New or renewed gifts, of any size, received between March 1, and July 31, 2009 will qualify for the special matching challenge grant. The gifts will help the Durham Rescue Mission achieve it's mission of providing shelter, meals, counseling, and educational services to homeless men, women, and children in the Triangle.
