Tish Talks about the "Balance & Grounding" metaphysical properties of stones on Saturday, July 11 from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at The Nature of Art in Holly Springs. FREE. Make a piece of jewelry after the talk if you like for $8.
"Making jewelry has become my passion, my obsession, my therapy, my joy," says Tish McDermott, artist. Tish works with beads and stones in their truest form, by working with the elemental nature of the stones.
For balancing both mental and emotional, Tish recommends bloodstone, carnalian, hematite, sodalite, and tigers eye, just to name a few.
For centering and grounding, try bloodstone, calcite or hematite. Other grounding stones are agate, bloodstone, hematite, obsidian, salt, smoky quartz, and more. Notice some stones cross over both aspects.
Improve your mental steadiness, create more emotional stability or improve grounding for a more solid foundation, all by choosing the proper stones to wear or carry.
Call (919) 387-9448 for more info. The Nature of Art is in Sunset Lake Commons at the intersection of Holly Springs and Sunset Lake Roads.
