"Opening an office on Main Street in downtown Clayton is like going full circle," according to Manly Turner. His new general contracting office for On-Time Construction is in the same building as the old Foster Barnes Hardware Store, where his father and uncle worked as a young man.

Mr. Turner has now consolidated several construction offices into 3000 square feet of space most recently occupied by Shelton Furniture at 423-425 E Main Street. Mr. Turner is a general contractor for new residential construction, renovation and remodeling.

Since moving into the new location a couple weeks ago, Mr. Turner said he's had people stop in thinking they were an antique shop because they'd see the larger than life Blues Brothers figures in the window. "They're just a good conversation piece," he said.
