CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. -
The Chatham County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the body found in Jordan Lake Tuesday.
Fire and rescue crews found the body of Brandon McCray of Durham around 4:20 p.m. near the intersection of Beaver Creek Road and Lower Pea Ridge Road.
A concerned fisherman at the lake called emergency crews around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday when he found some personal items on the shore.
The body is at UNC Hospital undergoing an autopsy.
