President Barack Obamais coming to North Carolina to discuss his health care plans as he tries to gather public support to pass his proposals this year.
The White House announced that Obama will hold a town hall meeting at Broughton High School on Wednesday. The event will begin at 11:45 a.m. and will be held in the Holiday Gymnasium. Obama has been trying to push through a massive overhaul of the nation's health care system. But he's encountered skepticism from members of Congress and the public who are concerned about the costs.
The Democrat visited Camp Lejeune in February, when he talked about his plans to withdraw troops from Iraq.
