Members of the NAACP will come together today in Cumberland County to push for the passage of the Racial Justice Act.
The bill would allow a judge to rule out capital punishment in a murder case if the judge believes race was a basis for seeking the death penalty.
The senate is expected to take up the measure tomorrow, while the house has already approved the measure.
