SPRING LAKE, N.C.
A Spring Lake man has been charged with engaging in sex acts with a 13-year-old.
Jose Luis Dominquez, 30, of 611 Odell Road was arrested on Monday and is charged with second degree forcible sexual offense, sexual activity by a substitute parent and taking indecent liberties with a child.
Investigators say the encounters occurred between April 20, 2006 and April 30, 2006.
Dominquez is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
He will make a first court appearance Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Come on....3+ yrs.... I'm all for the hangman's noose. But this girl could just be mad at him for nuying her some candy. But 3 yrs is a long time to come up with this now isn't it. That long, I'd have to give the benefit of the doubt to the guy here. This has gotten out of hand, all a girl gotta do is cry and he's arrested.
