No one was injured at a fire Tuesday night at a Chapel Hill home.
Assistant Fire Marshal Dace Bergen said Wednesday the fire began at about 11:36 p.m. Tuesday at 1034 Highland Woods Road.
The person home during the fire called it in, but was not injured. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
The first arriving fire truck unit found heavy fire visible from the garage/carport area of the home. The fire took about one and one half hours to control.
The cause for the fire is still under investigation.
