CARY, N.C. -
The Town of Cary will temporarily close Waldo Rood Boulevard from Southwest Cary Parkway to Towne Village Drive from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday to continue intersection improvements.
Drivers are encouraged to take the signed detour from Southwest Cary Parkway to Towne Village Drive to Waldo Rood Boulevard.
Electronic message signs and flaggers will direct traffic around the work area. In case of inclement weather, the road closure will be postponed to Thursday, Sept. 3, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The closure was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 29 but was postponed because of inclement weather.
