Firefighters in Durham continue to investigate what caused a home to go up in flames Tuesday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the home located in the 2400 block of Loftin Drive around 8:30 a.m. after a neighbor called 911.
Durham County fire marshal's office said no one was home at the time of fire. Investigators believe the fire started around the sofa, but it still remains under investigation.
The fire was contained to one room, but the rest of the house sustained smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
