Raleigh, N.C.—Diane Dennis, co-chair of the Big Bad Ball (@bigbadball) event committee announced today that attendees of the event who purchase a raffle ticket will be eligible to win a $10,000 cash prize. The annual gala fund raiser for Hospice of Wake County will feature the raffle along with a door prize, a strand of Mikimoto pearls worth $7500 donated by Fink's Jeweler's, and a silent auction of over 60 items.
"The Big Bad Ball traditionally conducts a raffle for a large cash prize," said April Mills, event co-chair. "This year, interest in purchasing raffle tickets has never been higher. At only $50 per ticket, a small investment will have a big payoff for one lucky winner!"
Raffle tickets may be purchased for just $25 when booking a reservation for the Ball, a savings of 50%. Raffle tickets may also be purchased by themselves for $50 each. Those interested in booking reservations or purchasing raffle tickets may contact call Jodi Snelling at the Capital City Club at (919) 832-5526 or Diane Dennis at dianedennis@ifgpr.com or 919.806.4927.
Hosted by the Young Executives Board of the Capital City Club, the 8th annual Big Bad Ball is the gala fund raiser for Hospice of Wake County, a private nonprofit organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care and support for terminally ill patients and their families. In addition to live music, the black tie event will include a silent auction, dancing and gourmet food and drink.
