I-540 Lanes To Be Closed Due To Inspections

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Beginning tonight, lanes of both I-540 East and West between U.S. 64 Business and Triangle Town Boulevard will be closed due to inspections.

Contractors with the N.C. Department of Transportation will be conducting concrete inspections.

At least one lane of traffic will be open at all times.

The project will take place nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekends. The project is expected to be completed by October 7.
