Raleigh, N.C.—Diane Dennis, co-chair of the Big Bad Ball (@bigbadball) event committee announced today that attendees of the event will be treated to a "Cinderella" experience at this year's gala. Complimentary makeup consultations and applications will be available courtesy of Bobbi Brown cosmetics and a Hollywood Photo Booth will capture the special evening.

Fink's Jewelry will offer its beautiful jewelry and watches with 10% of proceeds going to Hospice of Wake County. Guests can pre-arrange for their selections to be at the Ball for purchase. Attendees will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvre displays, a midnight breakfast, and scrumptious desserts.

Two distinctly different bands will have guests on their feet dancing all night long. Casablanca Orchestra, a popular Raleigh-based big band will perform ballroom, swing and shag until 10 PM. An intimate jazz performance by selected band members will follow in the pub. tHE.DESIGN (formerly SUGAR the Band) will continue the party, playing their unique brand of pop-rock that has been consistently ranked in the top five U.S. bands by GigMasters.

"I think what makes Big Bad Ball different is that there is something for everyone to enjoy," said April Mills, event co-chair. "The Ball is hosted by the Young Executives Board of the Capital City Club and we've tried to appeal to all ages to ensure an evening of fun for all guests. We hope everyone enjoys the variety of activities, food and music that make the evening special!"

Big Bad Ball guests will be eligible to win the door prize drawing for a $7500 Mikimoto pearl strand provided by Fink's Jewelers. Raffle ticket holders will have a one in 500 chance to win the $10,000 cash prize.

The eighth annual Big Bad Ball is the gala fund raiser for Hospice of Wake County, a private nonprofit organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care and support for terminally ill patients and their families.
