Cumberland County Homicide Detectives say a Fayetteville man has been charged with knowingly exposing another person to HIV.
Isaac Micah McDonald, 34, was arrested in Forth Smith, Arkansas in September, 2009, for knowingly infecting a woman with the HIV virus.
In Arkansas, this crime is a felony violation. Arkansas investigators say if convicted, McDonald could be sentenced up to 30 years in prison.
In 2002 McDonald was a person of interest in the murder of Fayetteville resident, Janet Norris. Her body was found stuffed in the trunk of her car in a wooded area off Canady Street. There was not enough evidence at the time to charge anyone with her murder but McDonald still remains a person of interest in this case.
Meanwhile, detectives are asking anyone who has information about the murder of Janet Norris to call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500
