Many students and faculty at North Carolina State University are quite a bit agitated with the parking issues on campus. With over 30,000 students, the university only offers three main parking decks for students, faculty and visitors. Two decks are located on the Main Campus and one on Centennial Campus. Dan Allen Deck and Coliseum Deck on Central Campus offer a pay lot and students can also purchase semester parking passes. Recently, many students and faculty have been complaining about the Coliseum Deck. Not only is the pay lot backed up in the mornings with a wait, but even those with passes are having a hard time finding open spots in the deck. With so many students attending the university, action needs to be taken to provide more parking so these problems can be resolved.
