The NC State Wolfpack is coming off a disappointing season on the hard-court last year, and they're hoping to get back on track by going younger.
At Friday's media day, Coach Sidney Lowe -- and his players -- said the entire team seems to be on the same page this off-season, and they're optimistic about tipping off.
Everyone's worked hard on conditioning, which will be important since they're planning on using a fast-paced attack all year long.
That also means they're going to rely heavily on freshmen and sophomores coming off the bench at any given time.
"If you're going to push the ball up the floor, they're going to get tired. And that's what we want to do. So we're going to have to count on nine, ten guys," said Lowe. "And then the minutes will fluctuate, obviously, depending on the game."
The Wolfpack is having its first "midnight madness"-type celebration tonight: The Red Rally at Reynolds is set to have basketball scrimmage at 9 p.m.
