DURHAM, N.C. -
Christmas may still be two months away, but Duke University students are already taking pre-orders for trees.
The students are selling the North Carolina-grown Fraser fir trees to raise money for an organic tree farm.
Trees between five feet and 12 feet tall are available for pre-order through Nov. 6. and range in price from $35 to $160. Trees sold this year are not organic, but have been grown using integrated pest management to minimize pesticide use, according to a press release.
