HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. -
Bass Lake Road in Holly Springs will be closed for a few days in November for bridge work, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.
The road will be closed to traffic from Nov. 2-13. The maintenance work will temporarily cut one of the main routes to get from Holly Springs to Fuquay-Varina.
Detour signs will be posted directing traffic to use Holly Springs Road and Sunset Lake Road as an alternate route.
The Bass Lake Park and Retreat Center parking lot will remain open to traffic on the Holly Springs side of the bridge.
