BRAC Task Force To Discuss Growth, Homeland Security

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The BRAC Regional Task Force (BRAC RTF) annual meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. until noon at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Fayetteville.

Results of a major workforce study will be released. Wayne Freeman, CEO of TDA, Inc. and Wayne Grant, senior associate from Booz Allen Hamilton will discuss results of the Defense and Homeland Security Industry Cluster analysis.

Fayetteville State University Chancellor James Anderson will make remarks concerning the new North Carolina Center for Defense and Homeland Security that will be located at FSU.

Futures, Inc., the company chosen to develop PipelineNC, the Web-based job connection platform, will provide an update on the features and benefits of this service.

The BRAC RTF annual meetings attract over 300 community and business leaders from the 11 counties surrounding Fort Bragg and Pope AFB.

- COL Stephen J. Sicinski, Garrison Commander, Fort Bragg
- COL (R) Michael Alexander, Military Affairs Advisor to N.C. Governor Bev Perdue
- Joe Freddoso, President and CEO of MCNC, Research Triangle Park
