Credit: AP Online
RALEIGH, N.C. -

The two men known as the "Interstate Bandits" have been arrested, according to the FBI.

Police in Edison, New Jersey arrested Malik Dillard on July 21 after a robbery at a PNC Bank. The next day investigators arrested Zarqurous Lequis Sanders in a hotel room in Lincoln, Alabama.

Both men are accused of being responsible for more than a dozen bank robberies dating back to May 8, along interstate highways in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, New Jersey and Maryland. Five were in North Carolina; Huntersville, Cary, Concord and two in Raleigh.

Authorities say additional suspects in these robberies have been identified and more arrests are expected.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Charlotte Field Office of the FBI at 704-377-9200 or your local police department.
