DURHAM, N.C. -
North Carolina Central University has released the following statement about its preparations for possible inclement weather.
NCCU's Emergency Taskforce, led by Campus Police Chief Willie Williams, has met several times this week to assess campus preparedness in advance of the predicted tropical storms and hurricanes which may impact our area.
Preparations are being made by our office of Residential Life, Campus Police, Facilities Services, Information Technology Services, Food Service, Student Affairs, Public Relations, and other key units of the university to ensure the safety and viability of the campus in the event of inclement weather.
