CARY, N.C. -

Tropical Storm Hanna left Cary with minimal damage, according to town officials.

Five downed trees and one storm-related accident were reported.

Several greenways are closed until further notice due to flooding.

MacDonald Woods Park and Marla Dorrel Park are closed as well as the following greenways:
• White Oak Greenway between Jenks Rd and Parkscene Dr
• Oxford Hunt Greenway
• Black Creek Greenway
• Southbridge Greenway

"Hanna was a great opportunity for the Town to test our emergency preparedness, and I'm happy to say that we got an A," said Deputy Fire Chief Jay Poole in a press release.

All Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources programs are being held as scheduled today.
