Tropical Storm Hanna came and went pretty quickly, and the damage was kept to a minimum.
The storm washed ashore early Saturday morning, and most of the wind damage was along the coastal areas.
Hanna also dumped a lot of water on the Triangle once the storm made it a little farther inland.
By Sunday morning, almost everything was back to normal.
Crabtree Creek is back in its banks, but there's mud from the floodwaters coating almost every parking lot around the Grove Park Apartments.
"We went to another house because it was almost filled here," said little Edgar Corolnel. "We had to go to another house."
Corolnel says his family's lost their air conditioning because of Hanna, but they're glad to be back home.
Crabtree Creek had some of the worst flooding -- but it certainly wasn't the only place with problems.
Dozens of houses off of Rose Lane were stranded because of floodwaters.
"I had to go do some stuff yesterday morning. But I couldn't come back through it, though," said Shaneka Dockery. "The police officer wouldn't let nobody else through."
"Some police officers came here and asked for the people that were in the home to stay home, for what was outside to stay outside," said Jean-Filix Milandou.
Today, though, everything is back to normal there, too.
"Today is fine," said Milandou. "Everybody can go out and in in this area."
People say as high as the water got, they've seen it worse.
"Last year, the water went over the bridge," said Tim Kasor. "It was crazy."
Most people kept an eye on things, but said they never felt the need to evacuate.
