WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -
Ligon Middle School will be in session Tuesday after repairs to power lines. A power line failure related to Tropical Storm Hanna resulted in the school being closed Monday.
Ligon students will make up the lost day on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Due to the potential additional traffic on Election Day, Ligon will open on a two-hour delay like all WCPSS year-round and modified calendar schools. Other WCPSS schools have a scheduled teacher work day on Nov. 4.
